At Lumora Educational Experience Center, the children enjoyed a fun and meaningful morning with a glutinous rice ball (banh troi) making workshop — a traditional Vietnamese culinary craft.
👐 Shaping each little round dumpling
Guided by our teachers, the children kneaded the dough, rolled the balls and tucked sugar into the center. Each round dumpling reflected their focus, dexterity and excitement.
🎨 Learning through play
Beyond developing fine motor skills, the workshop helped the children learn about traditional food culture, appreciate the value of their work, and practice patience — all through a warm, hands-on activity.
😋 Joy all around
The proudest moment was when the children showed off the dumplings they made themselves. A small experience, yet full of joy and beautiful memories.
